New eruption on Tungurahua!!!

An eruption had begun on Tungurahua in Ecuador during the late afternoon of 27th November local time. IGEPN reported that seismic activity had increased during the mid afternoon later to be followed by explosions with ash fall and pyroclastic flows beginning at around 17:00 local time. Large explosions with sounds resembling cannon shots was also reported and pyroclastic flows descended the western and northwestern flanks. Ash fall mixed with rain was reported in some places close to the proximity of the volcano.
